Technology provides tools that our students need to meet today’s challenges and prepare for tomorrow’s opportunities. It also empowers our community to develop 21st century fluencies, to adapt continually, and to be future-facing digital citizens in a global society. It’s our responsibility to guide and show our community how to use these technologies in a more effective, conscious and responsible way.

21st Century Learning

We approach the use of technology as one means to actively engage students in their own learning process, by giving them freedom, autonomy and responsibility to fully develop their potential wisely and safely.

Through the conscious use of a wide range of technological tools, our students are capable of developing more complex, complete and meaningful projects relevant to their 21st century learning environment.

In order to have an effective approach towards the digital generation, it is important for teachers to embrace the use of technology in their classrooms.

We encourage our faculty to participate in professional learning and development communities to continually foster technology best practices. This investment in our educators leads right back to the classroom and our student learning.

Our entire community has access to a technology-rich environment on campus. Wireless connection, one-to-one laptops program (6th to 12th grades) and Apple TVs enable our students to use multiple platforms and experience professional level software while enriching their learning within each academic and extracurricular subject.

ISC has Chromebook laptops sets to be used for school-related purposes and under the supervision of a teacher. Students may use them for activities on the Learning Center and all grade 4 and 5 classes have a set of more than 20 Chromebooks for daily use.
