At ISC, we provide a comprehensive athletic program for all students, with many competition opportunitites.

Passionate About Being a Wildcat

Student-athletes are those whose heartbeat accelerates when they find themselves in a Sports Field or Arena. At ISC, they find many opportunities to play, practice, develop and take part in national and international tournaments.

We expect from Wildcat Athletes demonstrated abilities, commitment, self-discipline and sportsmanship through active participation in early morning practices, uniform purchases and housing foreign guests for sports events.

Leagues and Tournaments

Super Liga de Curitiba

Middle and High School students engage in year-round games and competitions with other local schools in Curitiba, Paraná. The Super Liga involves Futsal, Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer.

Middle School Friendship Tournament

Every year, ISC Middle School athletes compete in sports modalities such as Soccer, Basketball and Volleyball against schools from Uruguay and Argentina. This tournament provides students with the chance to socialize and compete with their fellow teammates and international players. It is also their opportunity to be introduced to athletic tournaments without pressure, serving as a preparation for the High School sports league.

Little 10 & BIG 8

Both Little 10 and Big 8 tournaments are international competitions in Brazil, happening once a year. The modalities are Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Futsal and Cheer.

Little 10 focuses on students from grades 6 to 9 (Junior Varsity league) and BIG 8 on students-athletes from grades 9 to 12 (Varsity league)

SAAC JV & Varsity Tournaments

The South American Activities Conference (SAAC) consists of teams representing International Schools from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay. Joining this league greatly expands our students’ horizons both athletically and culturally. It gives them the opportunity to compete in high-level tournaments of soccer, volleyball and basketball, whilst traveling around South America. When we hold SAAC events here, we give students and families alike the opportunity to participate in a fun and rewarding sporting event, promoting global sportsmanship in our own backyard.
